Minecraft Special Interest Group (SIG)

Does your child like playing Minecraft? If so, they'll fit right in our Minecraft Special Interest Group. Your child will receive a weekly challenge to build on their own and then come share, teach and learn in a Zoom session with new friends. Once kids present their creation, other kids naturally have questions and want to learn how they did it. This is a fabulous way to make friends through shared interests, work on presentation skills, give and receive feedback, and up-level Minecraft skills.

Join kids of all ages each Tuesday at 3:15pm Seattle/6:15pm NY/8:15am Wed Sydney. We meet on Zoom and then split into smaller breakout sessions, each with an adult moderator and teen Minecraft mentor. Come join the fun! You can find the join link here.

Weekly Challenges:

For September 15 meeting: Build something incorporating a pattern or signal. It can be patterns in blocks, colors, Redstone, you name it!
